Crane Inspections
Crane inspections are conducted to verify compliance with PECPR regulations, the approved code of practice, and relevant industry standards. Engaging an IANZ-accredited and WorkSafe-recognised inspection body ensures adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
IB Tasman offers comprehensive inspection services for monorails, gantry cranes, goliath and semi-goliath cranes, jib cranes, vehicle truck mounted loader cranes (VMTLC), mobile cranes, telehandlers, and reach stackers in accordance with PECPR regulations.
Pressure Equipment Inspections
IB Tasman has over 20 years' experience inspecting pressure equipment, identifying failure mechanisms, evaluating safety systems, and developing maintenance plans.
IB Tasman offers comprehensive inspection services for boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure piping, including timber treatment vessels.
EWP - Elevated Work Platforms
Elevated Work Platforms requires 6-monthly inspections and major inspections after 10 years of service, then every 5 years by a competent person, to ensure the equipment is compliant to the BPG and relevant standards.
IBT provides commissioning, 6-monthly and major inspections on all types of elevated work platforms.
Lifts and Cable cars
In the context of New Zealand's Building Act 2004, an "IQP" (Independent Qualified Person) is responsible for the inspection and reporting on specified systems like lifts and cable cars, ensuring they meet safety standards and comply with the compliance schedule.
IB Tasman provides inspection on all types of lifts & cable cars and issue certificates of compliance (Form 12A).
Welding Inspections, Procedures (PQR & WPS) and Welder Qualifications
