Crane Inspection

Crane inspections ensures the compliance of the PECPR regulations, approved code of practices and relevant standards and specifications. Having your crane inspected by an IANZ accredited and WorkSafe recognized inspection body ensures that you comply to the Health and Safety at Work Act:2015.

IB Tasman provides inspection services on monorails, gantry, goliath, semi-goliath, jib, vehicle truck mounted truck loader (VMTLC), mobile, telehandler and reach stackers under the PECPR regulations

 

Pressure Equipment Inspections

Pressure equipment inspections ensures the compliance of the PECPR regulations, approved code of practices and relevant standards and specifications. 

IB Tasman have more than 20 year's experience in the inspection of pressure equipment, mechanisms of failure, safety systems and on-going maintenance plans of such equipment.

IB Tasman provides inspection services on Boilers: fire tube boilers, water tube boilers & electrode boilers
Pressure Vessels:  air receivers, autoclaves, jacketed pans, refrigeration plant, CCA Vessels timber treatment vessels & process vessels.

 

EWP - Elevated Work Platforms

Elevated Work Platforms must undergo inspections every six months, with major inspections required after ten years of service and then every five years thereafter by a competent person, in order to comply with the BPG and relevant standards.

IB Tasman offers comprehensive commissioning, biannual, and major inspection services for all varieties of elevated work platforms.

 

Design Verification of Cranes

Lift and Cable car Inspections

Within the framework of New Zealand's Building Act 2004, an Independent Qualified Person (IQP) is tasked with inspecting and reporting on specified systems, such as lifts and cable cars, to ensure compliance with safety standards and adherence to the requirements of the compliance schedule.

IB Tasman conducts inspections on various types of lifts and cable cars and issues certificates of compliance (Form 12A).  

 

Welding Inspections, Procedures (PQR & WPS) and Welder Qualifications

IB Tasman provides a complete service you can trust, and assist you throughout the entire process during qualification of welding procedures and welding personnel. 

Our qualified personnel also provides welding inspections ensuring compliance to national and international standards and specifications.

 

Non-destructive testing (NDT)

IB Tasman provides the following NDT services:

  • PT (Penetrant testing)
  • MT (Magnetic particle testing)
  • UT (Ultrasonic testing)
  • ECT (Eddy current testing)

Your engineer will inform you of the required NDT testing during construction of your building based on AS/NZS 5131:2016. The relevant construction or repair code stipulates the required NDT for other applications.
